BARANGAY BUTOL, MUNICIPALITY OF SANTIAGO, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR

BARANGAY HALL.

CALL TO ORDER:
The 1st SK regular session was called to order by the Presiding Officer Hon. Karl Joshua B.
Tauro at 3:30 in the afternoon followed by the singing of the National Anthem and an invocation led
by Hon. Khalud Alia Escalona.

ROLL CALL AND DECLARATION OF QUORUM

SK Chairperson Hon. Karl Joshua B. Tauro called the roll, and it showed that 7 members
adding the newly appointed SK Secretary and SK Treasurer total of 9 members were present.
Thereafter, the quorum was declared by the presiding officer.

Butol was called to order at 3:30 PM on November 19, 2023
(Sunday) at the Butol Barangay Hall, Santiago, Ilocos Sur. Hon.
Karl Joshua B. Tauro, SK Chairman as Presiding Officer.

Business for the Day

Appointment of SK The SK Chairman, in concurrence with the SK Council
1 Secretary and SK appointed Ms. Michelle G. Pascua and Mr. Jefferson A. Gasalao
Treasurer as SK Secretary and SK Treasurer respectively.
2 Schedule of Regular SK  The schedule for the regular SK meetings was set to be
Meetings and KK held on the last Sunday of every month as proposed by
Consulations Hon. Karl Joshua B. Tauro and concurred with by the
SK Council.
 KK General Assembly prospect date will be held on
February.

3 Authorization of SK The SK council approved the resolution authorizing SK

Chairman and SK Chairperson Karl Joshua B. Tauro, and SK Treasurer Jefferson
Treasurer with the A. Gasalao as the official signatories to transact business with
Landbank the Land Bank of the Philippines, Candon Branch, Candon
City, Ilocos Sur.
4 Other Matters  The SK council suggested to have a Christmas League
Baketball Tournament to be held on December 22 –
23,2023.
 The SK Council is planning to have a community
service every month. It can be a clean-up drive or tree
planting.
 The SK council have decided to assign 3 printers to 3
different zones for the assistance of students who
needs to have documents printed.
 The SK council is also planning to have seminar for
kabataans of Brgy. Butol regarding “Teenage
Pregnancy”, “HIV” , “Drugs” and other more issues
circulating nowadays.

After such a meeting, there being no other matters to be taken, Hon. Karl Joshua B. Tauro moved to
adjourned the meeting duly seconded by all of the members of the SK council. The session was
exactly adjourned at 5:00 in the afternoon with the closing prayer led by Hon. Karl Joshua B. Tauro.
