RESUMEN ABSTRACT
The following work arises as a result of the
reflection and analysis about the daily practice,
and aims to make public a model of psychomotor
intervention that combines both aquatic and
psychomotor classroom environments, multi-
space intervention. This approach in psychomotor
therapy has been applied to children aged 3 to 7
pressumed or diagnosed with Autism spectrum
disorder (ASD). We have considered for this study
six patients which cases are representative of the
population that attends to the clinic.
In light of patients development over the last year
of treament with this methodology the following
common achievements have become observable:
improvements in communication skills, increased
eye contact and / or joint attention, acceptance and
incorporation of organizing routines related to the
therapeutic setting, increased flexibility in gaming
topics, increased tolerance to sensory stimulation,
acquisition of relaxation routines; greater corporal
expression in desires and interests, imbalance and
tonic-postural accommodation, progress in social
skills.
