HOMEWORK

I. IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

● Kind of work : Group work

II. EVIDENCE FOR LEARNING:

This work is about writing an external analysis. Find some issues and background about
the company where you work or worked. Then, make a chart about PEST analysis and
support each of the items described.

III. INSTRUCTIONS:
In a group of 4 people, they must do the following:

1. Organize your ideas and read all the material in the platform blackboard of the course
2. Write an introductory paragraph of the company you will analyze. The company must
be a company where one of the members of the group worked or work actually.
3. Make the PEST chart (include at least 4 elements for each factor) and group the
factors according to:

☑ Political environment, e.g. tariffs, trade deals, environmental policy etc.

☑ Economic, e.g. interest rates, exchange inflation, unemployment, gross domestic


product, etc.
☑ Social, e.g. demographics, population growth rates, age distribution, job market
trends.
☑ Technology, e.g. with the introduction of new products, new technologies and
services.

4. Each element of the factors must be explaining in paragraphs outside of the chart.
Make sure you justified them with the proper bibliography and APA.
5. Bibliography must include APA.
6. How to send your work:
Only one participant of the group must submit their work and must do so in the
following way:

4. It must be considered: vocabulary (spelling), grammar (structures), organization

Introduction
In this work we present the PEST analysis of the company SIKA S.A.C which is
dedicated to the manufacture of materials used in sealing, gluing, waterproofing,
repair and reinforcement and protection of structures. For the content of this work, we
have the help of a family member of the owner of the company, who is one of the
members of this work team. In this analysis we will present the possible problems
that SIKA S.A.C has and must resolve, so that the company can achieve success
with better organization, innovation and profitability in its services. Thanks to this, not
only the company would benefit from the achievements but also its workers and
customers.
Background
SIKA S.A.C is a Peruvian company that is dedicated to the manufacture of materials
used in sealing, gluing, waterproofing, repair and reinforcement and protection of
structures.
The company was founded in 1910. Its main vision is to be the leading company in
the market, fulfilling its services with responsibility, quality and sustainability. Finally,
as a mission they want to offer their clients maximum focus through the products they
offer on the market.
