MET 4 PORTFOLIO

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS SHOULD BE IN YOUR PORTFOLIO.

1. Video recognition (Demand High)

Jim Scrivener - Demand High 1 - YouTube

You should write what practical ideas you can use in your classes.

I can apply a lot of lessons that I learned from the video, such as not just teaching for the sake of
teaching, but teaching where I have the knowledge of what I'm going to teach and if my students can
learn. About not making my students feel that I'm overdemanding of them, just letting them know that
it's a push so that they can learn, with due equal treatment, letting them know that we as teachers are a
guide, a help for them. Also in this, it has to do with students wanting to do their part to learn, for this
they need an example that is the teacher, in his way of teaching, who is not conformist and makes the
students not limit themselves to wanting to do something well. Students learn at their own pace, so I as
a teacher would do things fairly so that students would look for ways to learn on their own. The link of
technique and material are fundamental for students to be able to learn, since as a teacher you seek to
transmit everything you know to your student, for this to be done you have to constantly ask yourself if
what you are teaching is enough, so it makes you question yourself and want to give your 100% and the
same happens with the student, Look for other ways to keep learning and not just stay with the basics.

2. FCO (Focused class observation)
