Meaning of Induction Research :-

In Induction method a researcher has to go to the field

with an open mind having no “prior assumptions” and to develop,
focus and sharpen his investigation in the light of his search and
understanding of the reality in the field.
It can be said that in an inductive method research moves
from particular to general after getting evidences and findings.

Meaning of Deduction Research :-

Deduction method requires prior assumptions and to

verify these assumptions, A researcher uses research design,
sample and tools. In this method a researcher takes a set of
proposition derived in a “prior” manner through deductive
reasoning from theoretical materials.

Meaning of Deduction Research :-

A researcher problem can be started either inductive or

deductive mode. It starts from facts and come back to facts to
verify its hypothesis.
The inductive method moves forward from particular to
general, while deductive method is a backward movement from
general to particular.
