Exhaust pipe of the diesel engine shall be placed at a good height in

ambience at the out side of the building.

Pumps clean and free of debris

Pressure/Temperature gauges installed
Associated valve tags and labeling in place
Flow switch shall be provided on the branch pipe of the sprinkler to give
indication of bursting of sprinkler bulb.

Verify flow switches installed in correct direction for flow

On detection of bursting of the sprinkler, for quick draining and recovery of
fire water, proper drain valve /piping arrangement shall be provided.
Air purging valves shall be provided at the highest location of the header
lines of the Hydrant and sprinkler systems.

There shall be two independent Jockey pumps for the Hydrant and sprinkler
systems.

Check the starting and stopping of pumps wrt set pressure

Verify operation of jockey pumps
Verify operation of fire pumps
Witness flow/capacity test of fire pump including flow, pressure, speed and
amperage readings for combinations of 1,2,3&4 hoses.
All the fire cabinets to be checked with accessories check list
All the pressure switch calibration report to be submitted
All the pumps to be checked for the normal operation
Fire water tank to be checked for the water level and overflow mechanism
Fire pump pit and pump arrangement to be checked and to be on auto
Water transducer panel in the sprinkler system to be functional

Extinguisher of appropriate type to be placed in all the designated location

All the floor isolation valves to be checked for open position

Fire panel inspection to be done as per the panel check list in the electrical
check list

Functionality of the mechanical alarm in the installation valve to be checked

Height of the water through from the nozzle at the ground level to be
checked.

Starting of the fire DG pump to be checked at the designated pressure.

Emergency stop of the DG is located by the vicinity of the DG
Pressure drop of the system to be noted as per time
Fire brigade hydrant points to be checked and the connection to be checked
for the fire tank and to the system directly

Fire Cabinet keys to handed over

Fire safety sinages to be placed all strategic locations
