Name: Stewie Dent

Biography: Stewie is a 20-year-old Asian man who is currently unemployed but is studying in
college. Stewie has lived on the east coast of the United States all his life and has always been in
an urban area. Stewie’s family belongs in the middle class, so he grew up having access to
phones and computers, albeit them not always being the newest. When Stewie isn’t busy with
schoolwork, he uses his downtime to play video games with his friends online.

Why is Stewie using Discord?: Stewie is a primary user as he uses Discord as a form of
communication not only between him and his friends whenever they are playing games (at least
once per week) but also for group members during group projects when they need to make plans
to work on their projects together.
Skillset: Stewie is overall technologically literate as he knows how to use his computer and
phone to his advantage to complete homework and other tasks. He is also talented musically as
he can play the guitar and often composes songs of his own.
Requirements: In order to use Discord, Stewie needs stable internet for text, voice, and video
communication, the device he uses (either phone or computer) also needs to be up to date such
that they can run the program itself.
Expectations: Stewie expects the process of making new servers and adding friends to be quick
and easy, while the functions for communication remain efficient and uninterrupted by any
complications.
