1. Notes on Key Dates:

A. The achievement of a Key Date shall be subject to the issuing of a notice of no
objection from the Employer’s Representative
B. The achievement of a Key Date shall require completion of all the works specified for
achievement of the Key Date.
C. The achievement of Key Dates shall be read in conjunction with the Interface
Specifications to establish access requirements for Interfacing Contractors.
D. The access and order for completion of the Works shall be coordinated among the
Interfacing Contractors in the development of the Track Related Installation
Programme (TRIP) and Coordinated Installation Programme (CIP).
E. RRTS project comprises of four stages of ROD for complete section of Lot-1&2.

2. ACHIEVEMENT OF COMPLETION

A. KD-9: Submission of Report by Independent Agency for Verification (Auditing) of

design and installation of ROCS
Achievement: After completion of required verification of Design and Detailed
Engineering including the ROCS, the submission of final report by Independent
Agency for Validation.

B. KD 8: Commissioning of RSS-cum-AMS cum TSS

Achievement: Commissioning of Receiving Substation cum Traction Substation after
completion of construction of the substation building, installation of transformers,
installation of all necessary equipment, final finishes and testing in accordance with
the Specification. Completion of cable trough, HT cable laying and connection between
GSS and RSS-cum-TSS, and other associated civil works of the compound.

C. KD-10: Commissioning of ASS and power on

Achievement: Commissioning of ASS after completing installation of all equipment and
testing for ASS. Completion of laying 33kV cables, their terminations and connections,
and all other works required to permit power on up to the auxiliary transformer of ASS.
D. KD-11: Commissioning of Traction Equipment
Achievement: Energising 25kV traction on overhead equipment after completing all
OHE installation, earthing and bonding, buried earth cables, safety works and all other
connected works and testing for tracks.

E. KD-13: Commissioning of SCADA System

Achievement: Commissioning of SCADA system after installation of all Control and
Monitoring Equipments at OCC & BCC and performing all the Acceptance tests.

F. KD-14: Completion of Integrated Testing and Commissioning for Revenue Service

Achievement: Completion of integrated testing and commissioning prior to Service
Trial

G. KD-15: Taking Over of the system

Achievement: Satisfactory completion of all the Works and Service Trial and taking
over for Revenue Service.
