When creating your script, remember to use language that feels natural to you. Here’s a simplified
example of how you might structure your speech:
Intro: “Hi everyone, I’m [Your Name], and today I’ll share with you my favorite hobby which is
[Your Hobby].”
Body:
“I got into [Your Hobby] around [Timeframe], and it’s something I’ve come to love
deeply.”
“I usually [do Your Hobby] on [Frequency], and sometimes I [do it with
Someone/Solo].”
“I find it [Adjective], especially because [Reason].”
“The benefits have been amazing, including [Benefit 1] and [Benefit 2].”
Farewell: “I hope you enjoyed learning about my hobby of [Your Hobby]. Thanks for watching,
and I’ll see you next time!”
Recording Tips:
Practice your script several times before recording.
Keep your tone enthusiastic; your passion for your hobby will be contagious.
Make sure your recording space is quiet and well-lit.
Use images or footage of you engaged in your hobby to make the video more interesting.
Edit the video to include text of key vocabulary words when you mention them.
