I. INTRODUCTION:

Choice Theory and Reality Therapy are two approaches to treatment that are very comparable
to one another. These strategies are predicated on the idea that individuals are responsible for
their own actions and that they possess the ability to make decisions that can result in positive
change. By being familiar with the key ideas and techniques underlying Choice Theory and
Reality Therapy, therapists can better support their patients in accepting responsibility for their
actions and in coming up with decisions that are in line with the beliefs and objectives they
have set for themselves.

II. DISCUSSION:

Choice Theory and Reality Therapy are founded on the premise that people have control over
their own conduct and can make appropriate choices. Choice Theory holds that an individual's
behavior is guided by his or her own choices rather than external factors.

Reality Therapy aims to help people accept responsibility for their actions and make decisions
that lead to more fulfilling lives.

Both strategies emphasize the importance of positive relationships in one's life and encourage
people to create and maintain positive relationships with others.

III. SUMMARY:

Choice Theory and Reality therapeutic are two related therapeutic strategies that are founded
on the idea that people have control over their own behavior and can make positive choices.
Both ideologies emphasize the importance of accepting responsibility for one's own actions,
being present in the moment, and building meaningful connections with others.

IV. RECOMMENDATION/ CONCLUSION:

Choice Theory and Reality Therapy are both effective methods for supporting people in making
positive changes in their lives. By focusing on the individual's own choices and behaviors,
therapists can assist clients in accepting responsibility for their actions and making choices that
align with their beliefs and objectives. These concepts can be used in a variety of settings,
including mental health treatment and the workplace.
