APPARATUS:
Signal generator, oscilloscope, C 828 transistor, multimeter, 2.2 uF, 10 uF, and 100 uF
electrolytic capacitors, 560 0, 1 kO, 5.6 kO, 10 kO, and 15 kO resistors, connecting wires, DC
power supply and breadboard.
THEORY AND DIAGRAMS:
Single Stage Transistor Amplifier
‘An amplifier circuit with just one transistor to amplify a weak AC signal is called a single-stage
amplifier. Here we investigate such an amplifier implemented using a C 828 BJT transistor.
The h-parameters of a C 828 transistor are as follows.
