Issue
In SRM array manager the last ping result show:

enabled array pair 'Cluster1:SVM1' - 'Cluster2:SVM2' not found in array

discovery results

Cause
• Change the authentication level of the storage array from cluster- to SVM Level
• SRM expects the SRA to return discovery results in the format 'Cluster1:SVM1' instead
of 'svm1:svm1'
• An SVM was paired that did not need to be in the array pair.

Solution
1. Edit the Array Pairs to enter the correct credentials and IP address:
◦ Login to SRM
◦ Go to array manager
◦ Select the affected array pair
◦ Edit the local array and ensure that the target Storage Management IP and credentials are matching
the authentication level used in the VSC under Storage Systems
◦ Edit the remote array and repeat the above steps
2. Discover array pars and devices in SRM
◦ In Array Pairs Select the affected Pair
◦ Click on Array Manager Pair then on Discover Array Pairs
◦ Once complete click on Discover Devices
◦ If the error persists proceed to the next step.
3. Login to the WebCLI at https://<VSC-IP>:9083 on both sides and run the commands cluster
list and vserver list
◦ Run the command cluster list
◦ If the command returns a result(it should not as the authentication level level has changed) proceed
with the next step
◦ Delete the cluster entry cluster delete -cluster_ip=<ip-address>

◦ Add the cluster cluster add -cluster_ip=<ip-address> -username=administrator

-password=password -ssl=true
◦ Rediscover the Storage systems from vSphere->Virtual Storage Console->Storage
Systems
◦ Rediscover Storage in the WebCLI with cluster rediscover
◦ Confirm Storage connections on the cluster level are no longer visible with cluster list
4. Discover array pars and devices in SRM

◦ In Array Pairs Select the affected Pair
◦ Click on Array Manager Pair then on Discover Array Pairs
◦ Once complete click on Discover Devices
◦ If the error persists proceed to the next step.
5. Recreate the array pairs:
◦ Go through all existing Protection Groups and note the resources that comprise them
◦ Delete all existing Protection Groups
◦ Go to array manager, select the affected array pair and disable it
◦ Select the affected array pair and delete it
◦ Re-create the array pair, make sure to use the same management IP and credentials used in the
Storage connections in VSC
◦ Re-create the protection groups
6. If the error persists.
◦ Verifiy there is not an additional SVM being paired in System Manager that does not need to be in
array pair (protected)
◦ Remove the additional SVM pairing and repeat Step 4.
