Section 1: Oracle Mobile SCM for EBS, Release 10.0.0: Announcement

Note: The framework used to develop Mobile Supply Chain for EBS changed in January 2023. Oracle Mobile SCM for EBS,
release 10.0.0 uses Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (OJET) as an underlying framework.

The previous version of the Oracle Mobile Supply Chain for Oracle E-Business Suite app, which was made available in the
Apple App Store and the Google Play Store under the name Mobile Supply Chain for EBS, was built with Oracle Mobile
Application Framework (MAF). Oracle MAF is moving into Sustaining Support. The previous version of the app will remain
available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store until June 30, 2024. Oracle Mobile Supply Chain for EBS app
users should move to the newer version, known as Oracle Mobile SCM for EBS Release 10.0.0, as soon as possible.

Beginning July 1, 2024, only Release 10.0.0 and later versions of the Oracle Mobile SCM for EBS app will be available and
supported.

Section 2: Oracle Mobile SCM for EBS, Release 10.0.0: Overview

The current mobile MSCA application available in stores for Apple and Google is named Mobile Supply Chain for EBS. The
current mobile MSCA application leverages Oracle's Mobile Application Framework (MAF) technology which is in the process of
moving into sustained support. This version will be supported until July 1, 2024.

Therefore, MSCA customers need to migrate to the new version of the iOS and Android application named Oracle Mobile
SCM for EBS, as soon as possible. The new MSCA application includes new and improved technology and is no longer
dependent on the Oracle MAF technology.

Oracle Mobile SCM for EBS version 10.0.0 is now available in App Store and Google Play for iOS and Android platforms,
respectively.

The functionality found in the new MSCA application is the same (except for few UI improvements) as the older MSCA
application. Both the MSCA applications will be available in App Store and Google Play until July 1, 2024. This time frame offers
MSCA customers ample opportunity to migrate to the new app.

Beginning July 1, 2024, only the new version of the mobile app will be available and supported.

As soon as possible, Oracle recommends that customers apply the required server-side patches in a test instance to test all the
flows with the new MSCA app that is Oracle Mobile SCM for EBS.

Section 2.1: Patch Information

To use the new MSCA application, download and install the following mandatory server-side patches:

Customers using release 12.2.3 and later releases: Patch 34986700:R12.MWA.C

Customers using release 12.1.3: Patch 35042131:R12.MWA.B

Section 2.2: Functional Enhancements

The functional changes are as follows:

The layout for all the transaction windows is changed to the standard mobile look and feel pages.
The menu and LOV entries are numbered. You can select 1 to 9 directly by pressing the 1 to 9 number keys respectively
on a device with a physical keyboard.
The generate function, for example, generating a LPN, is simplified to generate and populate the corresponding field
directly.
