Unlocking of difficulties:
Recreation – is relating to an activity done during free time for the purpose of enjoyment and
relaxation.
Premises-the area around and belonging to a building.
Confines- a real or imaginary point beyond which a person or thing cannot go.

Lesson proper:
Recreational activity- is defined as activities engaged in for the purpose of relaxation, health and
wellbeing or enjoyment with the primary activity requiring physical exertion, and the primary focus
on human activity.
Two types of recreational activities:
1. Indoor - it is done within the premises of your comfort zone like at home or inside a huge
covered building such as gym or dome.
Examples:

b. Chess

2. Outdoor- is undertaken in a natural or open space outside the confines of a building


Examples:
a. Hiking
b. Cycling/bicycling
