However, opponents question whether the vehicles can judge road conditions well
enough to keep passengers and pedestrians safe. They say the sharp increase in
demand for lithium batteries means more mining, a process that can harm both

 What is one deficiency of robotic drivers, according to the professor?

The deficiency of robotic drivers is when they have something that they
didn’t know it is hard to them, and easy to human but especially when it
comes to road policies. What they frequently neglect to mention is that
robotic drivers’ flaws, which humans lack, can also affect the vehicles.
So that robotic drivers have a that humans don’t know, in other words,
you understand it’s a difficult thing for robotic systems to discern but
something that people are really excellent at.

 How would driverless cars impact the environment, according to the

professor?

Driverless cars have an impact in environment because according to the

professor one of the problem of a driverless is the batteries because it is
made of nickel which is the world is going to be really straining to get the
cobalt nickel that it needs for these batteries and there’s some very high
human environmental costs that come with that. They are also in a
Democratic Republic Congo where 70% of cobalt comes in lithium and
this is one of the part to help the car to be better.

driverless cars?

The professor defines the current state of technology for driverless

automobiles as a driverless car, is a vehicle where robotics handle the
steering, breaking, and other essential driving functions. Which uses
sensors rather than human vision to detect its surroundings and
encourage true space out, making it a combination of software and
hardware. As a result, it has a wider appeal than, well, you know. Some
companies also make claims about congestion relief that really don’t

 What changes does the professor suggest to increase transportation

options?

The professor suggest to increase a transportation is creating a bike-

friendly cityscapes and learn from other nations where bikes are a
common form of public transportation. And from the example that I heard
he said that the, the other countries is experiencing, where you can take
your bike to the train station, leave it there, and then pick up a similar
form of public transportation once you arrive at your destination train
station, these are things we can do with the technology we currently
possess.

Para po saakin hindi po ganon kagandang idea ang driverless cars, dahil
more on technologies yong yong pinakang nagapa gana sa kanya, even
though may human naga operate sa technology pero more on
technology pa din talaga nakasalalay don sa safety ng isang tao. Ang
Disadvantage din talaga nito ay when it comes nalamang sa mga hacker
na talagang laganap sa panahon ngayon, hindi na nawawala sa
panahon ngayon yong mga ganitong krimen which is may possibility din
na ma hack ng mga hacker yong mga driverless cars at dahil dito
maaring yong mga hacker na yong makapag operate nong sasakyan na
yon ones na ma hack niya ito so mapapahamak din dito yong mga taong
ma bibiktima nito. Sobrang laki din ng impact nito when it comes
nalamang sa ating environment na sinabi nga ng companies ng
driverless cars namagiging problema nila ay yong pinakang batteries
kase yong materials niya ay gawa sa nickel, which is the world is going

driverless cars kesa sa ordinary cars lamang. Even though may mga
good qualities siya na mabibigay, I'am most satisfied pa din if nasa tao
pa din yong pagiging responsible especially when it comes sa mga car
accidents, maging responsible lang ang bawat isa sa mag ordinary cars
magiging maganda yong kakalabasan ng environment at walang
mangyayaring gulo. Di katulad ng Driverless na hindi mo sigurado kong
talagang mapapagkatiwalaan ba talaga yong mga nasa likod na mga
naga operate. Mas maganda na din yong iasa mo nalaang sa sarili at
maging independent ka kesa naman iasa mo pa sa iba kong alam mo
naman na responsable kang mamayanan, na alam din naman natin na
kayang kaya natin itong mapagaralan.

On my own opinion po, hindi po ako masakay ng driverless car lalo na po at may

trauma at nerbyusin din po ako lalo na at di ko familiarize yong inasakyan ko maging

yong mga naga operate din don sa sasakyan ay hindi ko mga kakilala. Sobrang hirap

din kase talagang magtiwala pagdating sa mga bagong labas na technology o mga

gamit hindi mo sure ko good quality ba talaga siya o maganda nga talaga siya takot

lang tayo mag open na opportunity don sa sarili natin. Sa mga tao na may trust issues

katulad ko mahirap talaga ipagkatiwala yong sarili mo sa ibang tao dahil hindi mo din

naman talaga malalaman yong akalabasan nong scenario kong successful nga ba o

Hindi. Sa sobrang daming disavantages din kase when it comes nalamang sa

technology kase now a days or in a present day talamak na yong mga hacker so

sobrang laki ng possibilities na ma hack yong mga driverless cars lalo na at madaming

naka attached na gamit don through technologies, so mas lalo maiinganyo yong mga

hacker, at pag nangyare yon hindi lamang yong sasakyan yong maapketuhan, syempre

kasama na don yong nakasakay at lalo na din yong system at yong companies. Hindi

din ganon kaganda yong technologies pagdating sa mga bad whether lalo na sa Ibang

bansa,pano nalamang bagay may mga malalakas na ulan, snow, bagyo, etc. so ma

maganda yong technologies,kong saatin nga sa Pilipinas at sa Ibang bansa pag hindi

maganda ang panahon nawawalan ng signal at minsan pa ay nawawalan pa tayo ng

kuryente pano nalamang yong mga driverless cars na yan na technologies laang yong

naga nagapagana sa kanya, kaya hindi pa din ako ganon ka satisfied lalo na sa

pagdating sa technologies.

Kong siguro kong masakay man ako sa driverless cars, kapag pumatok na din talaga

siya sa buong mundo kong baga tinangkilik na ibig sabihin lamang non

mapapagkatiwalaan talaga yong operators at yong companies, pero sa usapin na ito

siguro hindi talaga, kase sobrang daming ko pa nakikitang hindi maganda pagdating

nalamang sa conflict when it comes po sa technology and more. Nasasaatin na at nasa

mga drivers nalang din talaga yong responsibility pagdating sa pagmamaneho kong

agamitin natin ay ordinary cars kase kapag responsible ka namang driver hindi ka

naman magawa ng akapahamak mo maging don sa ibang tao. Kong dati at Hanggang

ngayon nga hindi naman tayo ganon ka interesadi sa driverless cars, kase nasanay

nalamang tayo sa commute or mag drive nang mga sarili nating sasakyan na may

dalang pagiingat bakit Hindi nalamang natin ito ipagpatuloy sa panahon ngayon?. Nasa
