Subject Rework procedure for power window


Models Musso, Korando, Chairman and MB100
Condition
Many cases of door regulator and motor are replaced in normal function.

Correction
At first, clarify the exact defective part.
Then replace only the damage part with new one
If being replace the complete assembly like door regulator and motor, impossible to accept it
as warranty claim.

Subject Check procedure the HFM sensor


Models Gasoline engine

Condition
Due to the air flower sensor malfunction, the engine makes any trouble.

Correction
In case of air flower sensor damage, inform what phenomenon to happen and how to check it.

Engine phenomenon
1. In quick start, the engine stops and start impossible again.
2. In quick start, fast accelerating is not available, and the gear shifting malfunctions.
3. The connector of HFM sensor disconnects, the engine stop.
4. Knocking noise sounds on Bosch type of ECU(only CM600s model)
5. The engine stops as soon as start.
6. In idling, after raising up the rpm, the engine hunting happens.
7. In all cases of the above phenomenon excluding 6 item, the diagnosis result is normal with scan 100.

Check point
1. Diagnosis specification for sensor output
Model 400 500 600(Bosch) 600(VDO)
In idling 11.5 ∼ 12.2 13.5 ∼ 14.2 12Kg/h 14.4 ∼ 15.5
At 4,200 rpm 250 ∼ 400 250 ∼ 400

2. In Bosch type, the knocking noise happen when the air volume comes out 8Kg/h in idle.
So, At first disconnect the sensor, clean the internal area with air, then finally the test result is the same
as before, replace it with new one.
3. In condition of full accelerating, if the output value is below 200, the acceration damage happen.
4. When to diagnose, follow the above 4,200rpm, because of valiable engine load.

Subject Engine coolant temp. gauge is fixed at 90 degree or 0 degree


Models musso, korando & musso
Phenomenon

- Engine coolant temp. gauge is always at 90 dergee or 0 degree

Main Cause
Fixed at 90 degree
- The wiring from temp. gauge to temp. sensor is shorted to body.
- The temp. sensor is shorted.

Fixed at 0 degree
- The wiring from temp. gauge
to temp. sensor is opened.
- The temp. sensor is opened.

Work procedure
- Check the wiring from temp.
gauge to temp. sensor.
- Check the temp. sensor
