A) Installation
1. Installed material are approved as per material submittal
2. Size of Pipe and fittings as per approved Drawings
3. Check Supports installed as per approved drawings
4. All above ground joint are flanged / gasket connections.
5. Check all joint are installed correctly
6. Level, alignment, straightness & Vertically as per drawings
7. Others
B) Hydrostatic Pressure Test
1. Check Installation is approved.
2. All joints are open and not covered during testing
3. Check Pressure Gauges are calibrated
4. Check correct Scaling/rating of Pressure Gauges
5. Test pump capacity and safe, stable test pump support
6. Check Validity of Calibration certificates.
7. Minimum (2) pressure gauges installed at visible location
8. Test medium (Potable Water)
9. Pipeline vented for air trap in system
10. Test Duration 24 hours for inside building pipes
11. Test duration 2 hours for outside Building pipes
12. Test pressure 8 bar or 1.5 times of the system pressure
13. Check no pressure drop / leak in the system
14. Barricade / Safety warning, sign board placed during test
15. Others
C) Post Testing Activities
External coat of painting finishing for above ground piping in main
1. water tank plant room to be carried out as per client I consultant
requirement
2. Identification Tag installed
3. Others
