REDUCING

POVERTY FOR A
BETTER COUNTRY
The road to a bright future
What is Poverty?
Lack of income and productive resources is only part
of what defines poverty. Hunger, malnutrition, a lack
of access to education and other essential services,
social prejudice, isolation, and a lack of say in
policymaking are all symptoms. The effects of poverty
are unevenly distributed across society. Like low-
income households, there is a lot more strain put on
these families because they are more vulnerable to a
cascade of unfortunate events, such as illness,
depression, homelessness, job loss, criminal
victimization, and death, in addition to financial
insecurity.
Why is it Important to reduce
POVERTY?
WE CAN REDUCE IT
POSSIBLE WAYS HOW TO
FIGHT AND REDUCE
POVERTY
1. Quality Education
Quality Education
Education provides children with the
knowledge and life skills they need to
reach their full potential. Government
should help children and adults who
wants to gain access to high-quality
education by educating teachers, building
new facilities, and removing barriers that
prevent many children, particularly girls,
from enrolling in and remaining in
school.
2. Health Care Access
Health Care Access
Health care access is crucial. To
ensure that kids and adults are
healthy and strong, The Government
should assist localities in constructing
health clinics, educating healthcare
professionals, and purchasing
supplies and medications.
3. Producing Jobs
Producing Jobs
People can escape poverty by creating
jobs in impoverished areas. This
approach to eradicating poverty around
the world is arguably one of the best.
The federal government can
accomplish this by rebuilding
infrastructure, developing renewable
energy sources, restoring abandoned
homes, and raising the minimum wage.
Companies in both rich and developing
countries could reduce recent inflation
by raising the minimum wage for
current positions.
4. The People affected need
to Identify the issue
The Affected People
need to Identify the
issue
It works better when people identify
their problems. They gain self-
confidence and learn to collaborate
on simple issues. This suggests that
their initial efforts and experiences
can be applied to more difficult
issues. By solving their little issues,
the affected gain self-confidence and
the ability to spot bigger issues.
5. Establishing Local
Communities and
Organizations
Establishing Local
Communities and
Organizations
Policies alone cannot reduce global
poverty since they rarely affect the poor.
As indicated, local and federal efforts are
needed. Local organizations help the
needy as policymakers change laws.
Additionally, working with communities
rather than individuals is more helpful.
