4A’s SEMI-DETAILED LESSON PLAN

GRADE/YEAR : GRADE V

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
a. Define and identify adjectives:
b. Compose at least 3 sentences using adjectives;
c. Exhibit positive interaction in virtual discussion and in answering
modular activities.

III. Procedure
A. Preliminary Activities
a. Greeting
The teacher will greet the class and will ask a volunteer to lead a
prayer.
b. Review
 What was our topic yesterday?
 What was the title of the short video clip that you have
watched?
B. Lesson proper
1. Activity
Via TV feature the screen, the teacher will introduce the game ( guess
the picture) in tandem with a video presentation.

 What words did you see in the video that modify and describe
people, places, and things or in short, noun?
 The teacher will let the pupils match the adjectives they will
give to the picture they have seen on the video

3. Abstraction

 An adjective is a word that


describes a noun (person,
place, things)
 Adjectives can tell how
something looks, tastes,
feels or sounds.
 Adjectives answer
questions like: How many?
How big? What kind?
Which?
 Adjectives make writing
interesting.
 The teacher will then ask the student online for more words from the song
played awhile back and to give adjectives example either based on the
video or personal suggestion. (These are some confusing nouns that cannot
easily be identified weather people, places or things also called concrete
nouns).

4. Application
 The student will answer the activity prepared and to be played
in near pod. Activities include open Ended question, matching
pairs, and Fill-in the- Blank.
