 CREW RESPONSIBILITIES & UNDERSTANDING SATIP INSPECTION LEVELS

1. QC Supervisor shall ensure that all Painting activities are

conducted as per plan schedules and as per the requirement
of the approved procedure.
2. The Crew Supervisor shall be responsible for all painting
activities maintain equipment and tools for painting in good
working condition and ensure compliance with the approved
coating procedure.
3. Coating Inspector shall perform all coating inspection
related activities and provide the necessary data for painting
reports prior to client review and approval & shall be SAUDI
ARAMCO approved / qualified.
4. Painter and Blaster: They shall be SAUDI ARAMCO approved
/ qualified. Painter & Blaster is responsible for the field work
and shall work according to crew Supervisor instructions and
maintain all tools and equipment for painting. Painters and
blasters shall have valid JCC’s (Job clearance Card) prior to
start of work.

7. Surveillance: QA/QC organization to monitor work in
progress without notice from Construction Organization
8. Witness Point: QA/QC organization shall be notified of the
timing of Inspection or test in advance. However, the
inspection or test shall be performed as scheduled if the
QA/QC organization representative is not present.
9. Hold Point: QA/QC organization shall be notified of the
timing of inspection or test in advance. Inspection or test
shall not be carried out without the QA/QC organization
representative in attendance.
