And prio: the test, all the necessary navigation equipment should have been debugged already to During the measurement the vessel shall be in condition with fore bout 8.8m. ‘aft about 8.8m and aft draft * 1.3 At the beginning or ending of test items measuremente and records shall be made for wind force, wind direction, water depth of test sca area, ete. 1.4 All tests should be arranged by ¢ Yard QC. Department. And carried out in the presence of Supervisor end Classification Surveyor with represcniatives from the Yard production and design departments taking part in it, 1.5 During the trial all the concerned departments of the Vard have to make various measuring re Submitting relevant test reports after sca trial rds. 2. SPEED MEASUREME. 2.1 During the speed measurement the vessel shall be in full load condition with fore draft about 8.80: and aft draft about 8.8m. 2.2 During test the wind force should be 0-3 Beaufort (to be not corrected) or 4-5 Beaufort (to be corrected). 2.3 Speed measurement shall be conducted by DGPS method. 2.4 Preparatory running distance shall be more than 2 N.M., during speed measuring within the test section course deviation shall be not more than 2 degrees, steering angle — not more than degrees. 2.5 Speed measurements shall be conducte within the test section at 121 rpm , 150.5 rpm , 166. for the ve ning ahead to and for one time rpm , and 173 rpm. Mean speed of the vessel at cach given rpm of M/E shall be calculated by the following formulas: Vr-1/2 (Veit V2) Where: Vr-mean speed of the vessel of given rpm of M/E, unit kn. Vri-speed of measure for every single trip, unit kn. Prl/2(Pe+Pea) Where: Pr-mean power of the vessel of given rpm of M/E, unit kw, Pri-power of measure for every single trip, unit kw. Nr=1/2 (Pet+Pa) Where: Nr-mean revolution of the vessel of given rpm of M/E, unit rpm. Nri-revolution of measure for every single trip, unit rpm. 2.6 Following to be recorded during the test! a. Recording down wind velocity and direction b. Recording down water depth of every trip c. Recording down revolutions of M/ of every trip. d. Recording down the power of M/E of every trip. ©. COURSE-KEEPING TEST 3.2.1Course-keeping test shall be carried out by DGPS method. 3.2.2When ship ahead runs at M/E 166.5 rpm, keeping the rudder angle indicator at “0” position and with stable speed as shown by log, the rudder angle is to be locked. ‘The readings of the course angle and trial are to be taken down by DGPS continuously fo: min, then end the tes 3.2.2The same procedure shall be carried out once for reflux as well as for downstream of sca water. 3.3 INERTIA TEST 3.3.1Inertia test for full speed (166.Srpm): A. Inertia test shall be carried out be DGPS method. B. With ship running ahead at 166.5 rpm and keeping straight course, give an order to “stop M/E” when the log indicates a stabilized speed of the vessel. C. During test rudder angle is always 0 degree. DGPS will measure and record the moving time, distance and course angle devial 9 n for the vessel running ahead by inertia beginning from the “stop engine” order until the vessel stops advancing. {as 5 knots as indicates by DGPS) Following to be recorded during the inertial test: Start time and initial course Initial ahead ship's specd and revolution of M/E .. Ship speed and trail to be recorded by DGPS. eran 3.3.2incrtia test for half specd The test should be carried at half speed, the method to be same as item 3.3.1 A,B,C,D,E. VIBRATION AND NOISE MEASUREMENT (ONLY FOR $8195) 5.1 MEASURING PURPOSE, According to the 1IS04868-84 “Code for the measurement and reporting of local vibration data of ship structure and equipment” and the I802923-75 “Acoust s-hoise measurement of occan-going ship’, the local vibration and compartment noise of this ship will be measured during the official trial trip. Then, we will give an appraisal of vibration and noise grades of the ship based on the 1806954-84 “Mechanical vibration and shock-guideline for the overall evaluation of vibration in merchant ships and the IMO-468 decision “Guidelines for noise of ship’. 5.2. MEASURING CONDITION 5.2.1 Wind-force should be below gentle breeze and sca wave below grade 3. 5.2.2 ‘The water depth of sailing arc must be over 5 times of the ship’s mean draft. 5.2.3. The ship should go in almost straight way. ‘The ship should be in ballast trial state. The draft at stern must be large enough to make the whole propeller submerged in water 2.5 The air condition blowing ventilators and main generator should be normally in running, 5.3 MEAURING INSTRUMENTS 5.3.1 Local vibration measurement Sensor: MA-2LT (three- directional) accelerom Shinkch, Japna....sccsescesesssssseesessseense sed Sets Charge-amplifier: YD-28 dynamic resistance straining meter. eee 1 set Rocordor: Magnetic tape Recorder RB1 mace by TEAC, Japan sl sot Test data arc recorded and analyzed by CRAS analyzer 5.3.2 Compartment noise measurement Sound level meter LA-S1 116... oe 1 set Above instrument was made by ONO SOKKICO CO., LTD., Japan OUTLINE OF MOORING TEST & SEA TRIAL (HULL PART) Pee eee OM-GFW50516- 945-001SY age 7/9. 5.4 MEASURING CONTENT 5.4.1 Local vibration measurement 5.4.2 Compartment noise measurement LOCAL VIBRATION REMENT ‘The local vibration will be measured when the revolution of M/E is 166.5 r/min, ible 1}, 38 1 2.
