PERFORMANCE TASK
Go Green with Recycling!

Goal
Your task is to create a new product from the recyclable material that can be found at
home. You were also requested to document the recycling process and make a scrapbook
through taking pictures and putting some description about it.

Role
You are a recycling advocate, and you were asked to create a new product out of a
recyclable materials that can be found at home to learn more about recycling, responsible use of
resources, and sustainable living through creative exploration.

Audience
You will present your material to your classmates and your teacher at school.

Situation
As a recycling advocate and as a concerned student, you were tasked to create a new
product from the recyclable material that can be found at home to learn more about recycling and
to raise public awareness and support recycling, reducing, and reusing of materials while building
strong coalitions between community stakeholders in education, sustainability, and the arts.

Product, Performance, and Purpose

You need to create a product and make a scrapbook about it, explaining the things you
do and the importance of recycling in saving the environment.
