Lessons 37-40

Lesson objective:
Learners should be able to reflect on light and shadows, develop, and apply their shading and blending techniques and skills
using pencils, colour pencils

Lesson overview:

Practicing and applying pencil shading techniques by drawing and shading objects, recapping about light and shadows,
demonstrating its effect on objects, and reflecting it through their drawings.

• Observing videos and exemplars by the teacher for various techniques and skills while taking notes.

Peer-assessment by using a checklist and the TSR to evaluate each other's work during the class.

Using feedback from self and peer-assessments in order to edit and make any needed changes for the summative task.

Differentiation:

• Working with emerging students step by step to fulfill the desired results, and by simplifying the tasks.
• Giving extending students more advanced skills such as allowing them to experiment with different resources or giving them
responsibility to help other emerging students.
• Using different media (video, audio stories) to analyse, find information- explain and interpret data.
