Project Title: Drinking Fountain in School
Project Start Date: October 05, 2023 Project Finish Date: October 19,2023
Budget Information: The school has allocated ₱86 200.00 for this project to
have a free access of water in school. The overall cost of this project is for the
two pieces drinking fountain, materials needed and four laborers.
Success Criteria: This project will be successful because students, staff and
visitors will benefit from implanting a drinking fountain and are interested in
how to save water, lessen waste, and improve recycling. Projects involving
drinking fountains are popular among students who are to decrease the use of
plastic bottles and are an excellent approach to encourage drinking water. The
project head of the school will fill out a form for the completion of the project
and give an overall rating at the end of the project.
Approach:
• The two drinking fountains will be operated with fresh drinking water. * We
are aimed at providing increased access to free drinking water in the school
with a view to reducing the number and consumption of single use of plastic
bottles.
• The quality of free drinking water in fountains is often evaluated for the level
of metals and microbial contamination to ensure that it complies with the
specified safety standards.
• Water fountains provide a greener option to the litter that is caused by plastic
water bottles.
• All teachers, staff and students of the TCC campus will have a discussion
regarding of what we're the benefits of the drinking fountain in school project.
"A drinking water fountain in school improves accessibility to water for all
students, regardless of their abilities or physical limitations. This can be
especially important for students with disabilities or medical conditions that
require frequent access to water. And it can also support sustainability by
reducing waste and promoting healthier habits. It also sets a positive example
for future generations and helps students understand the importance of taking
care of the environment.” Rafael
