    My name is Stephanie Gasser, and I am a clinical and didactic instructor for the University of Arizona
    College of Nursing. It is with great pleasure that I recommend Ms. Samantha Kennepohl for selection to
    the VA STEP Program. She consistently demonstrated exceptional work ethic and dependability when
    she was my student, and I am confident she will be an asset to your program.

    Ms. Kennepohl has remarkable time management and organization along with patience and
    understanding when interacting with patients and peers. Her leadership experience as a Navy Petty
    Officer, along with her fluency in Spanish and knowledge of American Sign Language are notable
    qualities that set her apart from her peers. She will certainly excel as a student intern because of her
