Checking Prior Knowledge: - 2mins
Recap:
The teacher will begin the session by showing learners a computer and eliciting their prior knowledge about every
part of a computer through questioning.

Starter Activity: 3min


Teacher will show a picture of the Monitor to learners and ask them to name it, after this she will be showed them
“computer’s desktop” and ask them what picture they want to set as background on their Mobile phone or tablet?

Exposition: 5min
Teacher will ask the learners to close their eyes for a while and she would change the background of the desktop.
After this she will ask the learners to open eyes and notice what change she has made?
Now she will expose the topic that they are going to change the Background.
Demonstration: 10min

 To change your desktop background in Windows 10, click the Windows icon > Settings > Personalization >
Background: Next, click the drop-down menu underneath Background to select what type of background you would
like to have.

 Elicit their knowledge about mouse and mouse cursor. Demonstrate different types of cursors and their uses.
The choices are Picture, Solid Color, or Slideshow
 Teacher will show them how to download a picture from internet and apply as background.

Practice Task: (Pair Work) 20min


 Ask learners to practice the skills taught about the mouse right click and change the background of the
computer.

Production Task: (Individual Work) 20mins


 Learners will be asked to apply the background individually without any help. And they would be asked to
open Tizzy Toy Box and do some more practice of moue handling.

Plenary: 2mins
 How many clicks of a mouse have?
 Identify the click used to change the desktop background.
