It’s not just about selecting any product - it’s about understanding
exactly what makes a product not just sellable, but virtually irresistible
to consumers.

This is part of the secret sauce that transforms ordinary stores into

Here’s a few KEY boxes we check on products before we decide
on a product:

• Must solve a problem / satisfy desire — The product should


solve a problem for your customer or satisfy a desire.

• In Demand — There needs to be a need for the product, decent


demand and trending (you don’t want to sell a product that’s
already past its peak).

• Not easily found in stores — Ideal if it is a fairly new product


with low availability and low competition.

• Product has a wow factor / uniqueness — Something new


to the market, unique and could generate a reaction to your
potential customer.

• Price point — For beginners, we recommend a product that


you can sell for $20-50USD. We also recommend selling
a product for 2.5-3x what you pay, which means finding a
product for up to $25 USD, including shipping.

we’ve found to reliably test products with the highest chance
of success.

Your domain is your www. link customers will type in to find your
website, and should be the same as your brand name.

Your name should be creative, memorable and related to your


niche, ideally with a .com or .co extension.

The name should flow well and be no more than 2-3 words. The
goal is to build a brand around this name and use it to sell your
products.

Here’s 2 ways we go about finding great names (once you’ve


found your product).

names based on keywords you choose. These keywords
should be related to your niche.

• Get A.I. to do the work for you

- Create a free ChatGPT account at chat.openai.com

- Enter in ChatGPT: “List 30 catchy two word names for a new


ecommerce store selling [name your product] designed for
[the person you’d sell it to]”

- Copy and paste all names to www.godaddy.com/en-au/


domains/bulk-domain-search to see what’s available and
pick your favourite.
