Some Airport & Immigration formalities tips which may help you before Check In:
It is recommended that you carry a light baggage apart from the heavy baggage (Suitcases, trolleys, etc.).
The light baggage will be your cabin baggage, which you will carry with you at all time and the heavy
baggage will be your check in baggage, which will be placed in cargo section of the aircraft you may carry
your toiletries, few pieces of clothing’s travel documents etc. in your cabin baggage. The rest of your
baggage can be packed in the check-in luggage. Kindly note that items such as knives, razors, nail cutters
batteries (batteries in the camera are allowed), scissors, lighters matches, any type of liquid item that the
security can consider dangerous for travel are to be packed in your check in baggage. Please ensure that
your baggage is labeled with your name & address both outside & inside and that you are in possession
of your passport & ticket. Keep your passport & air ticket handy (in your hand baggage see baggage
section). On arriving at the airport you must reach at least 3 hours prior your flight time, get your check
in baggage x-rayed & proceed to your airlines counter. Collect your boarding cards & keep the same handy
along with passport. Please keep the E-ticket safely with you in your bag.

Please do not forget to collect the immigration Form from Airlines counter & fill in the details before
proceed to Immigration. Proceed towards the immigration counter, which is common for all passengers.
Here your passport will be stamped for exit. You cannot come back to the departure / check in area after
this point.
After immigration, it may be necessary to identify a few pieces of baggage & in case they have been
segregated by customs, please ensure that if your baggage is there, you identify it prior to going to
customs counter. It is advisable to declare any imported items like cameras, watches, computers, laptops
etc. at customs clearance counters and to get the custom officers endorse such items on your passport.
Clearing immigration formalities, proceed towards customs clearance and then towards your respective
‘gate’ as mentioned on your boarding cards. Clear your security check and proceed to board your flight.

Note: We strongly recommend that you carry cabin baggage with you, which contains at least formal wear
and some toiletries. This will be helpful in unfortunate cases of delayed / missed baggage.

Baggage Allowance for Economy Class : You will be carrying two types of baggage:
1. Hand Baggage (maximum 01 piece with a maximum permissible weight of 7 kgs)
2. Check-in baggage - Indigo Airlines it is 20 Kgs

Please ensure that you do not place any valuables in your check-in baggage and carry foreign exchange /
travel documents / Jewelry / insurance in your handbag or on your own person at all times.

Imp note : Please do carry Warm Clothes, jackets , Shoes , socks , gloves etc as it is going to be very
cold in Muktidham and Pokhra

Currency : INR 100 notes are accepted in Nepal , also you can get foreign exchange done at airport,
city and hotel as well
