We, the Department of General Surgery at the B. K. L. Walawalkar Rural Medical College, Chiplun,
Maharashtra, proudly invite you 'ASRICON 2023', the National Conference of the Association of Surgeons
of Rural India (ASRI), a section of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), which is being held on our
campus on the 2nd & 3rd of December 2023. This time the conference explores 'Regional solutions for
Global Problems' and hopes to explore new areas for development and enhancement of surgical services
to serve the rural population. The conference includes sessions on enhancing the reach of essential surgical
services, discuss solutions to global surgical problems, several instructional video demonstrations on essential
surgeries, medical education sessions to enhance communication and documentation skills, and the development
of newer technologies for education and research.
The conference also provides a broad platform for you to present and discuss your work, as well as
opportunities to participate in data analysis and research. We have taken all measures to ensure that your two
days at the conference will be enlightening. and fruitful.Looking forward to welcoming you to the ASRICON
