Common rail valve RV-2, On-Time


The RV-2 common rail valves operate very fast in order to achieve precise injection
and exhaust valve timing.
The RV-2 rail valves are switching very fast to achieve a precise injection and
exhaust valve timing.
Typical on-times are: Typical on-times are:

Trace Heating
Common rail, fuel supply unit and riser (all fuel components) have tracing pipes:
Trace heating of rail unit, supply unit and rising pipes (all fuel parts):�� In
order to avoid the adhesion of heavy oil, the tracing pipe should be open at all
times, especially when stopped at the dock.There is no circulation of fuel in the
common rail pipe and the riser pipe, and it must be insulated.
�� In order to avoid starting difficulties, it is recommended to turn on the
heating 4 hours before the train.
�� All common-rail covers should remain closed.
Note: When switching from heavy oil to diesel, the heat tracing should be turned
off in advance to avoid overheating of diesel.
Oil treatment. Oil treatment
�� Some hydraulic components are very sensitive and require very clean oil.This
prevents operational failures and extends service life.
The self-cleaning filter is efficient enough to provide clean oil.The filter can
provide a high pressure difference alarm at any time to indicate the handling
failure of the main oil.
�� Only in emergency situations, the self-cleaning filter can be turned to the by-
pass position.

�� In order to ensure reliability, both solenoid valves should be

The two solenoid valves are used interchangeably at regular intervals.
Disconnecting the solenoid valve can be done by unplugging it or by using the

by "slow turning" or "air run".
