MoM for the 13th Oct meeting.

A meeting of members of management council,placement council and the alumni council for MMS batch 1 [2011-13] was held on 13th Oct. The topics for the meeting were 1] discussion regarding action plan for the Alumni Night, which will be held on 10th Nov.2011. 2] Discussion regarding summer placement process.

* Process plan for the Alumni Night It was decided that Tejal Pradhan and Priyank Indulkar, who are the Alumni Secretaries will oversee the framing of the broad plan regarding the alumni event. Ritika Murarka , Alumni Sec. batch 2 will also be involved with them. As a starting point for all the actions, the alumni secretaries from the previous batch will be consulted regarding the structure of previous alumni events held. Tejal and Priyank will contact Nikhil Gade , Alumni Sec. batch 2010-12 and Sujata mam in this regard. It was also discussed that generating a contact list of all previous alumnies is an important process that has to be complted at the earliest. For this Prof Tendulkar sir will be theresource person. Tejal will contact him and take his help to enlist as many alumnies as possible in the contact list. Cold calling alumnies will be taken up immediately after a primary list of contacts will be generated. Following aspects were discussed to be of importance while actually calling the alumnies. duration of programme this year arrangements regarding their stay in Mumbai, if possible arrangements for food,transport,and other formalities. Designing programme for them which will be attractive enough,so that they will be ready to invest their time. Preparing carefully about what should actually be conveyed to them while inviting them regarding the nature of event. Creation of a dedicated facebook page for the event and printing exclusive invites for the alumnies were also discussed. These activities will form the core of actual inviting process.

About summer placement activities.

The placement council members will contact Kalpesh Navlakha , P Sec, Batch 2010-12 regarding summer placement process and cold calling possible recruiters. Ishank Tewari and Divya Doshi will do that task. Also it was decided that apart from the CMC, Weschool, MMS batch 1 students will create their own corporate contacts list and will try and get response from them regarding summer placements. To help those students who want international placements , it was decided that Shirin Popat Madams help will be taken for openings in that regard. This matter will be pursued by placement council. Finally it was decided that another meeting regarding Alumni Meet will be held on 14th Oct morning 9 am in Weschool.
