(2)To administer the temporal affairs of the church in their
appointment, the annual conference, and the general church. Being a pastor we have to authority to order in what to do in our church according to the needs and program because it is our duty. Our ministry is to order the member of the church and not the members or the council who will order us.
A). To administer the provisions of the Discipline.
We order according to the law of book of discipline so as a pastor we must study the book of discipline so that we do not make mistakes in teaching the members and we do not violate the law in the book discipline.
B). To give an account of their pastoral ministries to the charge and
annual conference according to the prescribed forms. The book also contains our annual responsibility and commitment to the district or annual and because of this we are obligated to provide whatever is agreed upon in the book because it will be a violation if we do not comply with the agreed upon law as pastors we must be the first to follow the book of discipline. C). To provide leadership for the funding ministry of the congregation. To ensure membership care including compliance with charitable giving documentation requirements and to provide appropriate pastoral care, the pastor, in cooperation with the financial secretary, shall have access to and responsibility for professional stewardship of congregational giving records. As pastors in the book of discipline there is a law contained that a pastor needs to be given appropriate to the needs so they should be open in telling the members what our needs are. So there should be a discussion when it comes to finance in this matter and it should be discussed openly
