I am writing to wholeheartedly recommend Ayanna Miller for admission to Harvard University.

I
had the privilege of being Ayanna's varsity basketball coach during her freshman year, where I
witnessed her exceptional athleticism and determination on the court. However, it was during
this time that Ayanna faced a profound personal tragedy with the loss of her boyfriend, Daniel
Hughes, a member of the varsity boys' team.

In the face of adversity, Ayanna exhibited remarkable resilience and strength. Rather than
allowing grief to define her, she transformed this experience into a catalyst for personal growth
and community engagement. Ayanna's journey from the depths of loss to becoming an inspiring
advocate and prominent community member has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Beyond her athletic prowess, Ayanna emerged as a leader in our school and local community.
She tirelessly worked towards creating a positive impact, demonstrating a keen sense of social
responsibility. Ayanna's commitment to community service and her ability to inspire and motivate
her peers are exceptional. Her dedication to making a difference is evident not only on the
basketball court but also in her efforts to contribute meaningfully to the world around her.

As Ayanna's coach, I have seen her develop into a compassionate and driven individual,
embodying qualities that extend beyond the realm of sports. Harvard University will undoubtedly
benefit from her intellect, leadership, and unwavering commitment to community service.
Ayanna's unique journey, marked by resilience and compassion, sets her apart as an
exceptional candidate for your esteemed institution.

I wholeheartedly endorse Ayanna Miller and believe that she has the potential to make
significant contributions to Harvard University and beyond.

Sincerely,

Coach Mike
