Spooky Halloween Celebrations in Cincinnati, OH

Enjoy all the special events the city has to offer during this fall season!

Cincinnati: This October, the city of Cincinnati is the site of several amazing opportunities to celebrate
the Halloween season. Visit Cincy is excited to support these events and welcome guests to the city
throughout the month. It is the perfect opportunity to support local businesses and enjoy some spooky
activities.

There are opportunities for everyone to enjoy the Halloween festivities this month in Cincinnati with
family-friendly and adult-only events happening weekly. For families with children, the Cincinnati Zoo is
hosting HallZOOween, taking place on Saturdays and Sundays starting Oct. 14, featuring fun activities
and treats around the park for children and their parents to enjoy. They are even transforming their classic
train ride into a Hogwarts Express themed experience! If parents are looking to get the family outdoors, it
is the perfect time to head over to Blooms & Berries Farm Market and enjoy their annual Fall on the
Farm. This event continues throughout October and features attractions such as a pumpkin patch hayride,
a seven-acre corn maze, a petting zoo, and more.

Although Halloween is usually associated with kids, there are plenty of activities for the older members
of the family this month. Kings Island, greater Cincinnati’s premier theme park, has begun its annual
Halloween Haunt for the entire month of October. After being voted 2022’s “Best Theme Park Halloween
Event” in the country by USA Today Readers, the park has opened new and improved scare zones that
guests will definitely enjoy. With these seasonal attractions and famous coasters, teenagers and adults will
love this spooky tradition!

If visitors are looking for even more screams, they can head over to the west side of town and enjoy the
Dent Schoolhouse, an old public school that has been transformed into one of the nation’s scariest
haunted houses according to “Oprah Magazine.” Owner of Dent Schoolhouse, Bud Stross, notes that
legend has always said the school is “said to be haunted” but he has never been sure. After 20 years of
success, Dent Schoolhouse is sure to impress the fear-lovers of the family.

Regardless of whether visitors and Cincinnatians are looking to be spooked or just to enjoy some safe
Halloween fun, the city has so many amazing attractions to offer this month. The city of Cincinnati is so
excited to celebrate the fall season and support these businesses over the next few weeks!
