Preferred Partners - Help and FAQs

What is Preferred Partners and how does it work?

Companies will be provided with a unique discount code and the offers that are available to them. This is redeemable in all David Clulow
stores:
- Style Service (all the usual benefits, but includes a free, gift pair of sunglasses up to £200)
OR
- 20% off a single pair (rx sun/optical or plano sun) and free eye test with purchase (no purchase means eye test is chargeable at
your standard rate).

Our expectation of the preferred partner company is that the offer is distributed around the business to all employees via their intranet/
rewards platform etc.

Employees of companies that are a preferred partner, will come into store with their discount code / let you know they have a company
discount to use. If they have the code with them, that’s enough identification. If they do not have the code with them, this can be found on
Smartly under ‘Library’ and then ‘Optical Processes’. You will need to confirm that they work for that company they say they do via some
form of employee ID.

Once this is done, you are ready to dispense your customer.

How do I process on Ciao?

All unique discount codes for all Preferred Partners are an open % code. This means that you can select the discount amount that you need
(30% for style service, 100% for sight test etc. Use this code for everything in the sale (eye test, style service complete pairs, the free pair up
to £200, plano sunglasses, everything) and discount by the appropriate amount depending on which offer they choose to take advantage
of. We are tracking usage of the codes so it is very important that you use the correct code.

How can I set a company up as a Preferred Partner?

Please get the customers email from them and ensure that they are happy for you to pass on their information to me (you can also provide
them with my email if they would rather get in touch with me themselves). I will contact them with all the Preferred Partner information
and explain how it works. Once agreed with the company, I will raise a discount code specific for that company and provide them with it to
use in any David Clulow store.

Your customers will use their work emails when booking appointments, especially in corporate locations. This is the easiest way to start a
conversation about Preferred Partners with your customers. Speak to your regular customers, they are the most likely to see the value in
the offer and will share it with colleagues by word of mouth in the beginning.

FAQs

- Q) When can customers use their Preferred Partner discount?


- A) As soon as their companies discount code has been generated.

- Q) Do all Preferred Partners get a free eye test?


- A) Preferred Partners receive a free eye test with purchase. If no purchase is made, eye test is the standard private eye test fee.

- Q) How long does it take for a company to be set up with the discount code ready to take advantage of the offers?
- A) Most discount codes are generated within a week of request.

- Q) Can someone pick a pair of sunglasses over £200 for their free gift pair and pay the difference? E.g. £250 and pay the£50 extra
- A) No. The maximum they can go up to is £200 for their free gift pair. They cannot pay extra to choose a more expensive pair.

- Q) My customer wants to fit prescription lenses into their free pair of £200 sunglasses, what do I do in this situation?
- A) Great! They can use the 30% style service discount on the lenses and pay over the counter for the lenses into their free pair of
sunglasses.

- Q) Can my customer choose an optical frame for their free pair as long as it also doesn’t exceed the £200 limit?
- A) Yes. As long as it is still £200 or under.

- Q) We have run out of Preferred Partner leaflets. Where can I get more?
- A) More leaflets can be ordered from Sarratt. If you have any issues, contact me.

- Q) Can a customer combine 2nd pair 30% off plano sunglasses with 20% off first pair as a preferred partner?
- A) Yes, with the plano sunglasses offer only. However, for two complete pairs (prescription), this would be done via the style
service offer of 30% off for each pair. Not 20% off 1st pair and 50% off 2nd pair.

- Q) Do I need to add the free pair of sunglasses up to £200 on to the style service plan on the Adaro portal?
- A) No. Just process this on Ciao as you would with any other sunglass sale and discount by 100%.
