The base warranty for QSB, QSC and QSL heavy-duty engine
ratings has been extended to 2 years/6,000 hours while engines
from 19 liters to 60 liters get 1 year/6,000 hour coverage.
Heavy-duty engine ratings are for applications that operate at
or below full power for an average of eight out of 10 hours with
an annual usage between 3,000 and 6,000 hours, depending on
engine family.

average of two out of every eight hours.
Medium Continuous-Duty.
Engines 19 liters to 60 liters with a medium continuous-duty ratings
will now have base warranty coverage for 1 year/4,000 hours.
Medium Continuous ratings are for applications operating at or
below full power for an average of six out of every 12 hours
with an annual usage between 2,500 and 4,000 hours, depending
on engine family.
