SENIOR NETWORK Engineer

Who are we?

The Network & Communications Practice is a global practice of over 1800 network experts that deliver
all aspects of network and communication services to our clients and internally to Atos. This role will sit
within the Global network presales team and will be accountable and responsible for the development
of network solutions at customer pre-contract stage. Their role interfaces with all aspects of the
Network Practice from Portfolio/product teams, Architecture, Engineering and RUN.

solutions for broad and complex requirements.

• Ability for standard or non-standard design approach

• Creativity, decision-making, and a detailed approach to the creation of solution.

• Strong experience in network technologies and vendors

• Possession of industry market awareness

Responsibilities:

• Experience in the development of network solutions for large scale clients

• Ability to understand client requirements and create a solution design that meets those
requirements

• Experience with network designs, Aruba, Juniper R&S, Cisco R&S, FW ASA / SRX including
checkpoints and routing & switching, LLB, LLD/HLD
• Knowledge in Network Design, Network Modeling, Network Security, Networking Equipment
Maintenance, Documentation
• Knowledge of network and server infrastructure, and the capabilities of cloud-based computing
(IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Network engineers works in collaboration with network architects, network administrators and
other professionals in network setup and configuration and design and build data
communication networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs),
and Intranets.
• Support our sales teams in the identification and qualification of new leads and opportunities

• Assess and understand the client’s business requirements, translating and recording these into
formal network solution requirements

• Development of a convincing solution strategy regarding current, intermediate, and future

mode of operations including migration approach

• Creation of customer presentations for solution related topics

• Construct compelling proposal responses that describe and support the network solution

• Effectively support the handover of deals from bid into delivery teams

• Strong English language skill, both verbal and written

• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, strategic planning, and business acumen

• Experience in technical presales or consulting with RFIs and RFPs
