City tour We begin our tour by finding ourselves at the famous Chacao metro station, where a mural by Simón Díaz is located. Then our walking tour began from the subway station to Plaza Bolívar in Chacao where the teacher told us why was Chacao called Chacao? Since in a corner of the Caracas Valley, a tribe had its domains whose chief bore the name of Chacao and whom the Spanish conquerors feared and respected for his brave, generous and implacable condition. Then, what I just explained will be more just after we arrived at the plaza, the teacher did a dynamic in which she asked us related things about the church that is located right in front of Plaza Bolívar, this church is called San José where We can see wooden doors as well as the ceiling in front, we can see a gold- plated altar where the Virgin Mary, Saint Joseph and Jesus are located. After there we went to walk the streets and as some original buildings from the somewhat colonial era are preserved, we went to a market where they sold spectacular flowers and then from there we headed to Plaza El Indio. This plaza is located on Francisco de Miranda Avenue, with Sucre Street and Bolívar Street, in the Chacao municipality. Its name is in commemoration of the Chacao Indian who was chief of a Venezuelan indigenous tribe in the mid-16th century. It is a place that offers you a short break while you watch the action of the city. It has benches for those who wish to sit and the respective statue of the eponym of this square. This is where our city tour has come, a tour to get to know the streets of Caracas and become more acculturated to our country.
