General indication
At the end of the lesson, you and your partners write a text
about the worst sports experience you had, by using present
tense, past tense, quantifiers, and linking words as well as
vocabulary learned in the course.

3. Description

 Step 1:
o Think about your worst sports experience.
 You can choose one of these options:
 A sports event in which you participated.
 A sports event that you watched (TV, internet,
stadium).
 A famous sportsperson that you met.

 Step 2:
o Work in pairs or groups of three.
o Share your experience with the group and explain why you
think it was the worst sports experience.
o Together choose the most interesting experience or
create your own.

 Step 3:
o Write your text based on the following guidelines and
questions:
 Mention the sport related to the story and describe
it. (present simple)
 What happened?
 When did it happen?
 Where did it happen?
 How did it end?
 Why was it the worst experience?
 How did you feel?

directly. EXPAND YOUR ANSWERS BY GIVING MORE
INFORMATION.
 Step 4:

 Keep in mind the following:
 Work in groups of 2 - 3
 Use the grammar and vocabulary you have studied in
the week.
 Use correct spelling and punctuation.
 Make sure your ideas are coherent.
 Avoid using translators.
 Double-check your writing before submitting it.
 Include a cover with your pictures and full names.

Through this activity, you and your partners talk about
your best sports experience by using simple present, simple
past, past progressive, quantifiers, and linking words as well
as vocabulary learned in the course.

3. Description

 Step 1:
o Think about your best sports experience.
 You can choose one of these options:
 A sports event in which you participated.
 A sports event that you watched (TV, internet,

 A famous sportsperson that you met.
 Step 2:
o Work in pairs or groups of three.

o Make a dialog, based on the following questions:
 What happens?
 Where did it happen?
 When did it happen?
 How did it end?
 Why was the worst experience?
 How did you feel?

 Step 4:
o When your questions and answers are ready, record a
video to share your conversation.
 Each one of you must participate at least 5 times.
 Each one of you must ask at least 2 questions.

4. Considerations to record the video

 Before recording the video


o Work in pairs or groups of three.
o Keep in mind the time you have for the task.
o Use the grammar and vocabulary you have studied during
the week.
o Avoid using translators and make sure your ideas are
coherent.
o Practice your pronunciation, intonation, and vocalization.
o Use a quiet place to record your conversation.
 At the moment of recording the video
o Show yourselves to the camera in a close-up or medium
shot, without covering your face.
o Avoid recording yourselves in the shadows or giving your
back to the light.
o Greet your audience and introduce yourselves at the
beginning of the video.
o Use correct pronunciation, intonation, and vocalization.
o Use the correct volume of voice, it should be neither too
high nor too low.
o Use body language and show interest when listening to
your partners.
o Avoid reading your conversation.
o Use the time allotted for the task.
o Finish the video by saying goodbye to your audience.
 After recording the video
o Double-check your video before submitting it.
o If you have a link, make sure the access to your video is
open.
