Tyler Bilawchuk Blog Update #3 November.

20

For my last Blog update I am finishing the last bits of my recording process for my
YouTube channel making sure that it has detail in my explanations and makes
sense. What I plan on now for this Blog Update is to start my editing process of
my video to make sure it is trimmed and has good diagrams and pictures to make
sense to my audiences. It will include effects, diagrams, and more. What I plan to
accomplish with this Blog update is finishing the last bit of recording and now to
start editing my raw footage of me teaching the guitar. With this I will be close to
being done my capstone but there is still more to be done of editing my channel
profile and the time it will take to complete this task currently. To complete this
task of editing my footage I will need to use my editor which I will be using
VideoShow editor. I will also need lots of time for editing and patience because it
is not an easy thing to do but I will use my knowledge of my old editing skills when
I used to make YouTube videos as a kid. Some obstacles I anticipate on this
journey are struggles of editing and being available to complete this. I will try my
best to overcome these obstacles by making sure I schedule time and that I am
very patient with my editing process to learn how to use the application again.
The progress I have made up to now is that I have completed my outline for this
YouTube video having it written out of what to talk about and now I am almost
done recording my YouTube video about to start editing it. Some core skills I used
for the recording process are my communication skills and critical/creative
thinking skills. I used communication skills by making sure my words were clear
and that my audiences could track what I am saying clearly and creative/critical
thinking skills when talking about each topic with freedom of what to say with the
help of my outline I completed to guide me. Some challenges I faced were
thinking of how to start the video and what to talk about with my own words
being myself. I overcame this by remembering that I need an introduction before
starting any YouTube video so people can understand my point and, I used the
help of other guitar YouTube videos to see how they start and talk to their
audiences.
