Suzanne Wright
Director of Davie County Health and Human Services
SPEAKER BIO/OVERVIEW:
Suzanne Wright serves as Director of Davie County Health and Human Services and has since 2018. She started her
employment with Davie County 15 years ago as the Public Health Director for the Health Department. Ms. Wright still serves
as both the Health and Human Services Director and Public Health Director. Ms. Wright attended the University of North
Carolina at Greensboro and graduated with undergraduate and graduate degrees in public health. Prior to her work in Davie
County, Ms. Wright worked 10 years as a Regional Development Director for a nationwide voluntary health organization.

IMPORTANT INFO:
● This Lunch & Learns is capped at 30 students.
● Do NOT register if you are not sure if you can make it. (Pay attention to the day of the week and other
commitments you may have during FLEX.)
● Students who register should check email to find out if they are actually registered, OR if they have been put on the
waiting list because the cap has been met.
○ Do NOT just show up to the room. Check email for verification. (Check spam/junk folder.)
● Students who are attending will be placed in the Lunch & Learn class for this date in EdFiciency.
● Please be on time! We need to begin as soon as the tardy bell rings.
● Be prepared to ask questions and take part in the Lunch & Learn.
● Email shoemakerm@davie.k12.nc.us if you registered but CANNOT attend. Someone wants your spot!
