City Fall Festivities Everyone Needs to Know

Plano, TX. October, 2023- The city of Plano is excited to announce the festeves for the upcoming few
weeks leading up to Halloween. Organizations from all over the city will be hosting many traditional
family activities to help connect with the community and most importantly, have a blast!
“I am excited to watch our community grow as we offer more events for everyone to engage in,” says
Mayor John Muns. The following is a list of a few of the top upcoming events:

Pumpkin Bash
WHAT: One of the returning popular festeves is the pumpkin patch. Open every day until the end
of October, families and friends can enjoy taking photos for the upcoming holidays while
spending time with their loved ones finding their perfect pumpkins. This event raises money for
the church's upcoming missions and ministry.
WHEN: This event is open every day until the end of October.
WHERE:This will be hosted at Christ United Methodist Church 3101 Coit Rd Plano.

Dark Hour Haunted House
WHAT: On October 13, is the tenth anniversary of the Dark Hour Haunted House, and this year
it’s about “the 13 witches of the Dark Hour Coven who have gathered to cast the most terrifying
spell.” The haunted house is open from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
WHEN: October 13, from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Boo Bash
WHAT: On October 26, come to the annual Boo Bash dressed in your halloween costume with a
canned food donation ready for carnival-like games and candy.
WHEN: October 26, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
WHERE: Tom Muehlenbeck Recreation Center 5801 W Parker Road Plano.
