Prefix and Suffix
Add the correct prefix to the front of each base word to make a new word.
Examples: the prefixes dis-, non-, and un- mean "not," or "the opposite of."
Ex: un + happy = unhappy (not happy)
dis- non- un
1. zip : unzip
2. honest : dishonest
3. fat : nonfat
4. agree : disgaree
5. ripe : unripe
6. pleasant : unpleasant
7. stop : nonstop
8. respect : disrespect
9. fair : unfair
10. obey : disobey
Add the correct suffix to the last of each base word to make a new word.
1. depend : dependable
2. sad : sadness
3. amaze : amazement
4. manage : management
5. soft : softness
6. accept : acceptable
7. move : movement
8. like : likeable
9. weak : weakness
10. treat : treatment
