As a second year baking and pastry arts student, to be considered for a 2023 internship would
be an amazing opportunity. After hearing about your opportunity from social media sites such as
Indeed, I became excited at the possible opportunities at an established bakery such as The
Grainery Bakery & Deli.

Currently, I am in school studying bakery and pastry arts. During my time up until now my
knowledge of various baked goods and desserts has expanded due to my experience at
Humber College and can be a great asset at your company.

Throughout my time at Humber College taking several classes has improved my working skills
in the kitchen. These courses familiarized me with making different baked goods such as
various cakes and breads. Furthermore, implementing the knowledge and skills gathered here
in school with personal projects such as baking at home to further improve. The aforementioned
courses also allowed me to work with other baking and pastry arts students as part of a team,
leading to learning the ability to coordinate my individual efforts with other motivated people
around me.

As mentioned earlier, this opportunity to be in the Part-Time Baker’s Assistant position would be
a great chance for me to start in the business and apply the knowledge learned in school. I am
