under Project Who Am I: Learn and Express Together

Date: June 14, 2023

Theme: Unite to Dance, Dance to Unite

The sun was shining brightly on the 14th of June, 2023, as students from
Grade 9 and Grade 10 at Noli National High School eagerly gathered in the school's
courtyard for the highly anticipated MAPEH Culmination event, under the banner of
"Project Who Am I: Learn and Express Together."
The theme for this grand celebration was "Unite to Dance, Dance to Unite,"
which perfectly encapsulated the spirit of the day. The event commenced with an
opening prayer, delivered through canned audio, invoking a sense of unity and
inspiration among the students, teachers, and attendees.
This spiritual moment set the tone for an afternoon filled with creativity and
talent. Mrs. Jaycee Lord S. Amomonpon, the MAPEH Coordinator and Grade 10
MAPEH Subject Teacher, then took the stage to deliver a warm welcome address. Her
words of encouragement and pride for the students' efforts set the stage for an
unforgettable experience. Recognition of the participants was the next order of the
day, as Grade 10 student, Michael A. Cortez acknowledged the dedication and hard
work put in by all the participants. Their enthusiasm and commitment were truly
commendable, making the event even more exciting. One of the highlight of the event
was a heartfelt message from the ever-supportive Principal II of Noli National High
School, Mr. Fernando M. Calo. He promised unwavering support and encouragement
for the students, affirming that he would continue to back their endeavors as long
as he remained the school's principal.
The moment everyone had been waiting for arrived as the judges for the
competitions were introduced. These judges were no ordinary individuals; they were
legitimate dancers themselves. The panel was chaired by the highly esteemed Mr. Ian
Larita, with the experienced Mr. Benjamin Cabale and the talented Ms. Madith Tariga
as fellow judges. Their expertise promised fair judgment and critical evaluation of the
performances.
As the clock struck 1 PM, the competitions commenced. The Grade 9 students
showcased their talents in the social dance competition, while the Grade 10 students
gave their all in the inter-section cheer dance competition. The atmosphere was
electrifying as each performance enthralled the audience.
After intense competition and hours of exhilarating performances, it was time
to announce the winners. Trophies were at stake, and the tension in the air was
palpable. In the Cheerdance competition, the results were as follows: - Overall
Champion: Grade 10 Saturn - 1st Runners Up: Grade 10 Mercury - 2nd Runners
