Description General Safety Information

Agitators are designed for economical mixing of closed tank.
The agitator can be easily mounted on top of the tank. The
agitator has easy access to dismantle and assemble after
the service. The unit can be conveniently moved from
one tank to another.
Warning: These agitators are intended for specific
functions. Please follow all instructions to
insure safe and proper use.
(1) Be certain that all mounting hardware and the coupling
and propeller set screws are properly tightened prior to
operation.
(2) Clamp securely to tank rim. Be certain propeller
is not touching side or bottom of tank.
(3) Perform electrical connections and wiring in accordance
with the electrical area requirements and local electrical
codes.
(4) Do not attempt to adjust agitator when agitator is
operating, this could result in personal injury or damage
to the tank and agitator.
(5) Always wear required safety equipment including eye
protection when observing agitator performance or
when adding materials to a tank while the agitator is
operating.

(6) Refer motor and gearbox manual for safe operation and
maintenance.

Unpacking

When unpacking the mixer, check carefully for

damage that may have occurred during transit.
Check for missing parts.

 Assembly Instructions

Assembly and Mounting: Trouble Shooting Guide:

(1) Connect Coupling with Gear box. Problem Cause Action
(2) Connect Coupling with shaft by using set screws. Motor Will Not Power problem Check electrical
(3) Attach clamp plate with Gear Box. Start supply
(4) Connect Propeller with shaft by using set screws Defective motor Replace motor
(4) Connect Motor with Gear Box by using Keys and Motor Quits Starter tripped Reset starter
