- Will abide by rules of PIEDMC and pay the power charges as per bill rendered by PIEDMC including
any change in Power Tariff from time to time.
- I have read, understood and agree to the contract conditions provided by PIEDMC.
- “For any dispute between PIEDMC and Consumer regarding electricity connection, billing, etc., the
case will be referred to Dispute Resolution Committee (DRC) - PIEDMC for resolution and I will not
go to any court of law in this regard prior to the decision of the Dispute Resolution Committee -
PIEDMC”.

1. A temporary electric power supply connection shall be provided by the PIEDMC

subject to the availability of load under prevailing rules, Applicant can demand

electric supply for a specific time period not exceeding three months, which may

be extendable be next three - months up to 18 months by the load sanctioning

authority subject to clearance of outstanding dues.

2. An applicant may apply for temporary connection for the following purposes:

a. Festival, Functions, Exhibitions or National and religious ceremonies etc.

b. Construction of buildings

c. Testing of industrial equipment’s

d. Any other emergent requirement of temporary nature

Documents Required:

a. CNIC copy of the Plot Owner.

b. Allotment letter copy.

c. Possession letter copy.

Conditions:

 Load can be approved for 25 KW to 50 KW.

 The applicant shall be served with Demand Notice for the cost relating to the

electric connection and security which will be deposited with the PIEDMC Head

office.

 PIEDMC, after deposit the demand note payment, shall provide the electric

power connection within 07 working days as per priority maintained for temporary

connection.

  PIEDMC shall provide temporary electric connection to the applicant on his

demand for a specified period and disconnect the same after the expiry of this

period unless extended further on the request of the consumer and confirmation

by the PIEDMC electrical department that the purpose for which temporary

connection is required, still exists.

 The consumer shall apply for extension in the sanctioned period at least one

week before the expiry of the sanctioned period. The consumer shall pay in

advance as security an amount equal to the expected consumption of the period

applied for extension.

 PIEDMC shall discontinue service without notice whenever it is not renewed for

further, given connection to his neighbor, nonpayment for one month or it is used

for unauthorized purposes.

After the expiry of the approved period or after the period when connection is no more

required and is disconnected, the material installed for temporary connection shall be

property of PIEDMC, if it is dismantled and taken over by the PIEDMC or if it is not

dismantled and is taken over by the PIEDMC.

SECURITY CHARGES FOR TEMPORARY CONNECTION

The security charges are refundable and calculate with the following formula: -

Sanctioned Load KW x Load factor (0.3) x 24 x 30 x 03 months’ x per unit rate
