ENGAGEMENT OF TUTOR ON CONTRACTUAL BASIS FOR ESIC PGIMSR
& ESIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, JOKA

Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is a statutory body constituted under an Act of

Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour and
Employment, Government of India. Applications are invited in the prescribed format for
engagement and for drawing up a panel for future engagement of TUTORS (NON-CLINICAL
JUNIOR RESIDENTS) in ESI PGIMSR, ESIC Medical College and ESIC Hospital & ODC
(EZ), Joka in the following departments. The panel may remain valid for a period of three months
and may be cancelled/ invalidated earlier without assigning any reason.

 Candidates with PG qualification in the concern specialty from recognized Medical College
/ Autonomous Institutions will be preferred in the selection process.
 Candidates on bond are not eligible.
 Candidates need to provide Bond clearance certificate from Appointing Authority who have
completed compulsory post PG bond service.
Age: Not exceeding 30 years as on 07.07.2020 (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD as per rule).
1. Emoluments : As per Hqrs. Office letter No. A-12/16/16/2018 (Contractual)-Exam.
Dated10.07.2018, the consolidated remuneration will be paid for X- Class City is ₹ 85,000/- per
month. In addition to above, No other allowances like D.A, N.P.A, HRA etc would be payable.

1. NOTE-1 : All eligible candidates should send filled in application form

(Annexure-I) enclosing necessary self attested copies of certificates, as
mentioned below, though email to deanpgi-joka.wb@esic.nic.in within
07.07.2020 at 04:00 PM to become eligible for appearing in the interview.
The name of the eligible candidates and tentative date, time and venue of
interview will be communicated in the respective email id of eligible
candidates.
All the eligible candidates will have to appear in the interview on
the date to be mentioned in the interview call letter sent by email.
Necessary arrangement will be made to maintain safe and adequate social
distancing during Interview.
The following testimonials/certificate should be sent through email:-
1. Self Attested copy of Secondary certificate (Showing date of
birth) or Birth certificate.
2. Self Attested copy of Degree Certificate.
3. Self Attested copy of PG Certificate, if applicable.
4. MBBS Registration Certificate & (PG Registration Certificate if
applicable).
5. Caste Certificate of category SC/OBC/ST/EWS whichever is
applicable
6. Bond release certificate, if any.
7. Recent passport size photo.
8. Experience certificate, if any

NOTE-2 : At the time of Interview the candidates should bring along with
them Original plus Attested copies of Degree certificate, PG
Degree if applicable, MCI/State MCI Registration Certificate,
Educational qualifications certificates/Mark Sheet from
Matriculation or equivalent onwards, Experience certificate (if
 any), Proof of Age (Matriculation certificate), Caste certificate
(SC/ST/OBC/EWS) as per central govt rules wherever applicable
and 2 recent passport size photographs.
EWS (Economically Weaker Section): Please note Sl. No. 4 and
5 of Office Memorandum No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated
31.01.2019 of Govt. of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public
Grievance & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training in
regard to criteria of Income & Assets and Certificate Issuing
Authority to be placed through a format enclosed in Annexure-
I of the aforesaid Memorandum.

Terms & Conditions:

1. One candidate can apply for maximum two departments & selection of
candidates for Interview may be called for one of them or both subjects which will
be decided by Selection & verification Committee.
2. Selected candidate will be asked to appear for interview in Call Letter mentioning
date & venue of the Interview.
3. Contractual period of Tutor is for one year.
4. Private practice of any kind will not be allowed.
5. No TA/DA will be admissible for interview.
6. The contractual engagement may be terminated/ discontinued by either side giving
one month prior notice to this effect without any reason.
7. Other terms and condition will be applicable as issued by competent authority from
time to time.
8. This being one year contract, continuous absence for period beyond 15 days will
be treated as abandonment of duty and the contract may be terminated without any
reason and security deposit will be forfeited.
9. The contractual agreement for a period of one year will be executed through
agreement on a stamp paper of Rs. 100/-. The original contract will be with the
Medical College/ Hospital. Cost of the stamp paper will be borne by thecandidate.
10. On engagement Tutors will be required to deposit security of ₹26000/- (Rupees
Twentysix thousand only) through Demand Draft in favour of ESI Fund Account
No. 1, drawn on any scheduled bank payable at Kolkata at the time of joining,
which is refundable after completion of contract period and on production of “No
dues certificate”.
11. Hostel accommodation/quarters will be provided subject to availability.
**Although these posts are reserved for SC, ST & OBC category, in case of non-
availability of the candidates of appropriate category, candidates from other category
can be considered for appointment on contractual basis for period of less than 45 days.
The contract will be renewable with further advertisement in absence of reserved
candidates [Vide Order No. 36036/3/2018 Estt. (Res.) dated 15.05.2018 of Govt. of
India].
