    Dear HR Manager,

    I am writing to bring to your attention a recent issue regarding the calculation of my half-day leave.

    At the time of my joining, I was informed by the HR team that the company policy for half-day leave is
    that it will be considered after 10 am. Today I wake up late, but did my efforts to reach company before
    10 am.

    However, recently I have noticed that the HR team has been considering my half-day leave from 9:30
    am, which is 30 minutes earlier than the time I was informed when I joined the company. This has led to
    confusion and inconvenience.

    I request that the HR team provide clarity on the company policy regarding the calculation of half-day
    leave. If indeed the policy has changed, please adjust today’s half day as I was unware about the
    changes in policy.
