In the development of global commerce, the digital transformation of logistics enterprises

has emerged as a critical driver of competitiveness and efficiency. This transformation is

particularly appropriate in the context of Vietnam, a rapidly developing nation with a
quickly developing logistics sector that plays a pivotal role in boosting trade and
economic growth.
Digital transformation is understood as integrating and applying technology to enhance
business and management efficiency and the competitiveness of enterprises and to create
new values
Digital transformation offers a multitude of benefits, transforming the way businesses
manage their operations and deliver products and services.
In Vietnam, the logistics industry is considered a key economic sector, the foundation for
the development of commercial activities, and the improvement of national
competitiveness. The national digitalization program to 2025, orientation to 2030,
approved by the Prime Minister (Vietnam Government Information Portal, 2020) clearly
stated that the logistics industry is one of eight priority areas for digital transformation.

limited, and research in Vietnam is almost uncommon
That is the driving motivation for our group to choose the topic: "Factors affecting the
digital transformation process of small and medium-sized Logistics services providers in
Vietnam" as the topic.
Research Objective:

The paper's main goal is to research the factors affecting the digital transformation
process of small and medium-sized logistics enterprises in Vietnam. The research results
will have policy implications for Vietnamese businesses and managers to promote digital
transformation in the logistics industry.

Research Questions:

To achieve the research objective, the paper proposes the following research
questions:

- What theory serves as the basis for researching the factors affecting the digital
transformation process on businesses in the logistics industry in Vietnam?
 - What internal and external factors affect the digital transformation process of small
and medium-sized logistics businesses in Vietnam?

The research object of the paper is the factors affecting the digital transformation process

studying the groups of external and internal factors affecting the digital transformation

About research space: Small and medium-sized logistics enterprises in Vietnam

Regarding research time: For secondary data, in theory, the author collected research
related to the topic from the past to this. In terms of practice, the author researched data
of logistics service businesses from 2018 - 2023. For primary data, the author conducted
a survey in 2023, from there synthesizing it to serve stated objectives of the research
topic.
